With prominent visibility from Highway 80 Costa Brown developed an exterior strategy that transformed a bland exterior into a glowing gem, denoting entry and illuminating the sidewalk. To bring the building up to a contemporary appearance, Costa Brown employed an illuminated perforated metal curving “waterfall” at the primary entry and an illuminated steel band “belt” around the entire building. The existing lobbies were rough and unfinished, with the electrical panels exposed and dated finishes; through the use of custom slat walls and refined lighting, the lobbies are now a warm place of greeting.
